Three Florence-area companies have picked up some accolades.
ArborOne ACA of Florence, First Reliance Bank in Florence and Sonoco Products Co. of Hartsville are among honorees in the Best Places to Work in South Carolina program sponsored by SC BIz News. ArborOne and Florece First were in the small-to-medium-size company category while Sonoco was in the large company category.
An independent research firm surveyed employees at participating companies and the selection was based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of a 65-question survey. The companies that made the list will find out where they rank at a recognition event Oct. 16 in Columbia.
The program is a partnership among the S.C. Chamber of Commerce, S.C. Society for Human Resource Management’s S.C. State Council and SC Biz News, operator of SCJobMarket.com and publisher of the Charleston Regional Business Journal, the Columbia Regional Business Report, GSA Business and SCBIZ.
