Timmonsville Firm Makes Tapes, Rubber Mouldings
Published Oct 17, 2007
Rockets and tape may not seem to have much in common, unless you’re an aerospace customer of Engineered Products and Services LLC.
The manufacturer of tapes and custom rubber moldings opened a 116,000-square-foot facility in Timmonsville in July 2006. “We needed another distribution point in the South,” says Todd Anderson, director of sales and marketing. “I was looking for a better workforce and a lower cost.”
Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based EPSI manufactures products for numerous markets, including the aerospace, automotive, medical and painting industries.
The company was the brainchild of Kissak Saragian, who saw a niche in the specialty rubber and tape industry he could fill. Since he founded EPSI in the 1970s, it has expanded into China, Holland and the United Kingdom, as well as California and now South Carolina.
